    Cool Blackett Photography DWYB 2012

Welcome to my DWYB Photography thread.

My intention is to add pictures from all 23 DWYB's to this thread, rather than start a new thread each time.
As the season goes on I will add links to this the first post to direct you to the photos for each DWYB.

    Ian Blackett
    Santa Pod's Resident DWYB Photographer.

I think the black one made it to the kidney. The white one cost them £400 and it was their first drift day, Lex dissed their car and upset them TBH, and ignored their request for lessons. I've promised them lots of tips next time.

I had fun giving advice to a few noobs, including a guy with a Sierra with a big (Range Rover?) V8 in it! He even let me have a go, made my day!

Black and white MX5s both stayed in the playpens all day. I was just practicing figure 8s and stuff in the black one, and they were just trying to get used to sliding about in the white one.

To use your sig pic, right click on the image and copy image address. Go to 'Settings' at the top of this page on the left of 'Logout', click on 'Edit Signature' (LHS), click on the square with the green tree (lets you add a pic to your sig). Paste the image address in the box that appears and click OK. Then click 'Save Signature' and you're done.

This should show the pic as below, at full size.

Fair enough, just if I was there in mine Id've probably said I wouldnt waste your time if I was you. MXgays (well, going by mine anyhow, never driven any others) suck at lower speed stuff so feels like you not good enough in it to progress, when in fact you should.

    Wicked Ian, cheers mate!

Stav's right, low power is a ball ache on the kidney as you don't have room for a big enough run up.

Cheers for the sig Ian. Much appreciated.

Stav, mine doesn't feel too bad with the lower speed stuff, it's just getting it to initiate that's the issue at low speed, with (gash) Parada Spec 2s on the front, it just wants to understeer. Once it's sliding though, it's not too bad. This was my first time down at Pod, and I just wanted to practice flicking from one direction to the other in the hope that it'll help me out at Buxton, definately gonna be heading back down to Pod at some point though, so i'll have a go on the bigger tracks then.
