Something could of broke but you could speculate that forever really :( I was the same when I flipped mine, Fairly sure the track rod end snapped resulting in no steering and flipping through the air.. however the was car ruined, so there was no way you could ever know.

Thankfully the OP is ok :)

Fuck that did not like staying sideways. Good driving.

    Get a neck restraint.

Hope you can sort the car.

Im fine thanks for asking, me and rod will both drive on, bit bruised and battered though. I got a sore head, neck and ear and rod has broken arms legs and lost an eye.
im pretty sure the drivers rear wheel split when I hit the kerb, heres a vid, see what you think. I will put some pics of the wheel up I think they tell the story

so this is the rear right wheel, when my friend who is an engineer who does a lot of stress analysis looked at this, the first thing he said was that the break in the centre of the wheel looks to have happened prior to the impact to the rim edge as none of the damage is carried across to the back side of the wheel. the back edge is still true and round and the front is shaped like a pringle.
Theres no real way I can prove that but thats what I think happened, The car is a bastard for snapping back straight as soon as you let off even slightly and im completely off the throttle and it keeps rotating from not a lot of angle.
