HI guys,

Are you able to take part if you are currently serving a ban?

Out of interest, these practise days going to have a theme for each (ie skill level) or is there really enough space to have beginners / intermediate / pro tracks each time?

Top job lads.
There really is that much space ..

Passengers are allowed when wearing a helmet and signing the usual disclamer. There is 1 passenger allowed into the venue per paid up vehicle.

We'll have to check with the insurance, but as long as you've passed a test at some point, it should be okay..
Every single person who we have not seen drive before will be assessed on the day starting from the basic donuts and figure of eight track. Each car will get a sticker saying you've acheived intermediate then pro-am status. Once you have these stickers on your car you obviously won't need to return to the basic or intermediate the next time you visit us, unless you want to ..

We'll be relying on our friends here to keep things safe as well.. Anyone jeapordising the venue will be ejected immediately, banned from the track and Driftworks

UPDATE- AE86 and its 4AGZE is RUNNING and driving Just needs radiator, intercooler, electic fan, MOT and tax.

Ideally better suspension and better exhaust, but already uprated stuff. Hopefully the 2way is still OK, was list time i saw the car...

Brilliant, gonna place my order any minute now, just waiting to find out whether I am booking 2 places.

Say if 50 cars do turn up will all of them have to show competence at donut's/figures of 8's before they can move on to the next level or is that for those that want the 1st timer experience?

Phil, in your first post you say no bikes, FWD's and 4x4s, i know you actually mean on track but will there be any "pits" so to speak for towing vehicles etc etc?
cheers
Kris

Good question
Also - if I wanted to bring another car full of spectators, is that gonna be allowed?

Steerfromtherear - Noone will be allowed on the medium and advanced tracks unless we're satisfied that they will be safe there. A figure of 8 is a fair test of that and once new drivers have demonstrated they can do that, they'll get a sticker. Any drivers who have Drift competition licenses of any kind will get an automatic pass, as will drivers who've proven their competence on previous DW practice days. This should keep everything flowing without causing too much inconvenience.

Kris, yes, we just mean out on track. You can tow with whatever vehicle you fancy

As for spectators, the day needs different (more expensive) insurance if it's open to spectators/general public, so it will be limited to drivers, plus a mechanic/ general support person in whatever guise that may be (we won't be able to help you pursuade your girlfriend to change your tyres for you )

If there's a big requirement for spectators, we'll look into it, but it might end up costing a token viewing fee to cover extra costs if any.

If spectators have to pay a couple of quid I'm sure it's not a big deal, but thanks for clarifying it upto now

I can't bloomin' wait!

I really need to sort my shit out and get a car to some kind of drifty standard. Once that is achieved, I'm there. Totally. Even if it's just to endlessly spin trying to prove I can do figure-8 skids..
