Ouch... sorry to hear this. Looked like a great venue. But looks like the local councils and residents have striked again.... most likely from blow in who's only moved into the area.

Surely the sound of Planes and stuff overhead from East Mids would just just as bad as the noised produced from a rare enough practice day.......

That bugs the frick out of me, there are planes going over you at Donny so loud you have to shout to the person stood next to you but there are noise restrictions for the track

People just dont like the fact that its cars going round the track, old frickers are happy enough for it to be a plane because they use them!!

People need to stop seeing motorsport and profesionaly organised events as chavs racing rounds mcdonalds in town!!

Pisses me right off!!!

That is a hell of a shame. DC represented good value for money and had so much more potential to give.

My fingers are crossed that Donny pull their fingers out and get this resolved as imo DC has the potential to be the hub for uk drifting.

Just done a trackday a Donny yesterday. They are strict on noise now. At least 2 cars in the first 2 sessions were black flagged for noise, before finishing their first lap !!

Its funny though a big jet plane flys over and you can't hear the person next to you talking.

So guys, where does one go to practice this sport? Not much point in having a hobby that can't actually be done anywhere *grin*

I was looking forward learning how to drift

Depends where you are - Lydd(Kent I think), TDSW(Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire, Dorset maybe Hampshire), Crail (Scotland) and many other places -feel free to mention them
