Tein spares

Can you get spare spring platforms for tein coilovers? One of mine got seized, and I had to hacksaw it off.
If you can, how much are they?

Thanks

Yep, what coilover exactly, and which collars exactly?? Just the one that the spring sits on?

It's a S13 rear Tein type HA with a part number DKN21-11531 S13-R-97E, and it's the collar that the spring sits on. The locking ring was OK.

Can you price up a dust cover for the rod as well. It's got a part number SAP24-94282 on it.

Cheers

Right, I've phoned up Tein UK, and they told me that the collar is £7, and the part number for it is LSS01-95314-2, and the dust cover is about £4.
They also said I'd have to order through a dealer, so can you do your bit and get it for me.

I'm starting to doubt your level of customer service here. It's been a full working week since I first asked about the bit, and still haven't got a price from you, yet all it took was a 2 minute phone call.
I don't mean to moan, but I want to get my car off blocks of wood, and back on the road.

To recap, the coilover is S13 rear Tein type HA with a part number DKN21-11531 S13-R-97E.
The spring seating collar says diameter 70, and 95314 on it, and Tein say the part number is LSS01-95314-2.
The dust cover is part number SAP24-94282.

Can you please get these ordered for me and restore my faith in Driftworks.

Thank you

Hi Dan,

Sorry for the lack of service on this, I must admit I completely missed your reply with the full part numbers until Friday when you bumped it, and I just didn't have a minute to stop and ring Tein.

FYI if you've got something urgent the absolute best way to get hold of me is either by e-mail to sales@driftworks or by phone, if something's really urgent then phone is the first port of call.

I'll get the exact price this morning and let you know, then you can give us a call and order.

Righto, the collar is £8.23 including VAT, the dust boot is £4.70 including the VAT but it's a revised design so won't work with your existing bump stop, the revised bump stop is £11.16 including the VAT. You will need to replace both for it to fit together properly, and just to be an extra pain Tein recommend if replacing one side to replace both.

Working on 2x dust boots, 2x bump stops and a new collar you'd be looking at £45 delivered.

Dan H: Read this:

Enquiries

Specifically: "Anything requiring urgent response can obviously be sorted out immediately by giving us a ring on 0845 869 2555 during the hours of 9:30 to 5:30"

You say you sorted this with Tein with a two minute phone call. Do you think this would have not been sorted within a similar time had you phoned us? Your post on an internet forum has been missed. That cannot happen when you use a phone.

To make things a little clearer. This forum is for us to advertise new products, and chat about our existing products etc. It is not for placing an order.

I can very confidently say our customer service is second to none. I mean that. I don't know of any company that goes to the lengths that we do to keep customers happy, so yes, as you can probably tell, you have touched a nerve ..
