E46 BMW 330d/330cd 1/1.5 way mechanical LSD available ?

Dear providers of all things slideworthy and nice...

Do any of you boys know if a 1/1.5way mechanical LSD is available for the E46 330d/330cd ?

I am just costing up a new daily drive 400+lb/ft torques smokey derv monster that needs some of the ultimate driving machine that bmw chose to leave out putting back in.

Thank you please.

Its a weird situation - I'm seriously trying to talk myself out of an E46 M3 - my sensible cap and slippers are telling me the 3 litre derv burner is a more sensible proposition for every day (and potentially lots of driving about for work). Its a weird one:

M3 - approx 32-35mpg with frugal motorway driving (yeah like that would happen), already has a proper diff, wonderful engine, handling etc.

330cd - approx 40-51 mpg - they return a quality 40(ish) mpg at 140mph (good for ring runs into germany), good derv engine (especially when chipped), suits my new old git image LOL.

The M3 (02/03 car) costs less to buy than the 330 derv coupe (05/06 - came out late in the E46 range life) - but more to run - choices choices. I suspect finding a 'good' m3 would be harder than the oil burner and is likey to be worth less when I get bored of it or the miles have racked up.

Diesel costs WAY too much, im not even sure the increase in economy would be warrented by the extra expence of actually buying the diesel.

M3.

M3 as well, diesel is way too expensive and 330D are big money, get lower mileage and better car with the M3. If you buy a 330D you would want the M package one anyone, I would only get a 330D if you needed an estate.
M3 CS or M3 CSL

No! Go derv. E38 740d is the ultimate (German, not here).

Paz/Al... what are you talking about?!?! Diesel is cheap!

And no no no to E46 M3... get an E36 and a house in Middlesborough instead. Much better values.
