Spec clutches

Hi, Is a "stage 2 SPEC" clutch up to the abuse of drifting (when fitted to S13 with Ca18det engine) or do you need to go for the stage 3 or 3+.
I fitted a standard clutch and it's lasted about 500 miles so dont want to make the same mistake again
Cheers for any info.. Eddie

Hi,
It depends on your power, and how much you abuse the clutch pedal .
If your around 300bhp it should have no problem as long as you use one of our lightweight chromoly flywheels, or if you have your original flywheel skimmed (if it's got enough meat on it).. Having proof of a perfectly flat flywheel is a condition of the warantee, and it's a sure way of getting the longest life out of your clutch
