    me being a fool with my GIZZMO

    chaps

    I've got a gizzmo on my car and do not have a clue how to work it, the instruction manual is shit and just wanted to know roughly how to set the boost to 1.1 bar.

    it continuously peaks at 0.9 bar and no matter what i do with the gain or duty cycle it wont boost any harder. am i doing something wrong and being a dick or is it not plummed in correct?

    sorry for the rookie question.

    I had this on a boost controller and it turned out to be a fucked boost solenoid

    the solenoid the part on the turbo side what the vac hoses go into? ive been told its too close to the turbo being bolted to the inner wing near the manifold so would that have anything to do with it?

    I have a gizmo on my s14, it's only 2 buttons but i have never touched it since i got it mapped. Have you had your car tune'd up on the dyno? If not then it would be alot safer as you may be leaning it out too much. I couldnt say if it would effect it in that way but to me it looks way too close to the turbo. Get yourself a large 'P' clip and wrap it around the solenoid, then use the 10mm nut on the other side of the power steering fluid resiviour (bolted to suspension turret) to secure it.. Also wrap or re-locate your ignition module bolted to the inner wing, have seen them melt and cause all kinds of problems before! not that its related but just some tips lol.
