Aftermarket/stand alone engine management.?

As above. Anyone running anything none stock. Thinking about standalone for when i build the car. Iv got a s14a running a sr20det will be aiming for 400bhp+

Apexi Power FC is what I've always used. Good bit of kit.

Same, have a Power FC on my S15 and you wouldn't know it was anything other than a stock system if you weren't told, runs perfectly. You just have the added advantage of totally custom mapping and the commander readout. First time I've had one on a car and I'm really happy with it.

Does that take the standard ecu out or is it just a piggyback system.?

If your looking for something a bit above the average.. Then look not further than the Link G4 Storm.

PowerPC is average, d jet version is better but still slow compared to modern ecus.

Once you've driven a car on proper management you'd never go back.
