    Viper V10

Hi, newbie here. I just wondered if anyone had ever fitted a Dodge Viper V10 engine to drift car before? Would like to know if 600hp is suited to this type of sport. What do you think?

do you not think maybe trying drifting would be a good idea before thinking about putting a 600bhp engine into a car?

    or it half term again?

    Yep.

Charlie V10 Dodge Viper power S15 Silvia

And pretty much any sort of bhp is suited to this sport.

That was 2 weeks ago jack.

600 is definately not suited for this sport. Creates too much post lateral force which counteracts to the sub anatomical correctness of your forward motion propelltion

Would seek less force and more propelltion from a lesser power source

Would have thought you'd have more luck selling on a specialist American muscle car site tbh

People may be interested, but Viper engines aren't very valuable from what I've seen.

It got the box too, if so, it's more interesting.

From what I've seen they're generally not that expensive as they not very sought after.

This guy says its 600bhp, so it must be either modified, or the later 8.4ltr version. Even the later 8.3 was only 500bhp.

The 8ltr ones like that S15 has either 400bhp or 450bhp depending on age, but 465lbft or 490lbft.

Lighter than a RB or JZ if I remember right, alloy block n simple pushrod heads. Not quite as long either.

Yeah its the 8.4 and would like 5k but being realistic and without the gearbox might take less. Thanks for the info, and the laughs. Don't think this is the place to sell it after all.

5k inc the box is decent IMO, T56 box so pretty fucking unkillable. Come with ancilliarys etc too?
