Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone had and info that might be usefull for me. i have a fully built sr with tomie 260 cams and hx35 turbo and am trying to use power fc d-jetro. it is all wired in corectly according to the diagram, map sensor is installed and AIT sensor is installed. my problem is when i turn the key on the hand controller lights up and everything then when i start the car it fires up and then just dies instanly. just curiouse if anyone has ever had or seen this happen and were i need to start troublshooting. have you gone through the idle process?? my friends pfc does this too but always idle's at the second go
It would still idle dude just hunt if it was an idle issue. Im guessing yours run for less than 5 seconds. Will it run longer if you try revving it. You'll have no throttle response and will miss like a bitch but eventually die. If so I'm afraid its the ecu. On mine it cuts power to the coils and the pulse signals are weak and completely different.
ya its maybe 5 seconds! as soon as you turn the key it fires up, and then instanly dies. its like when the rpm drop down after the initial fire up its not catching if that makes sense. when i press the throttle nothing changes!
have you checked all the sensors on the hand commander with the ignition on? have you got the boost controller function turned on but not actually attached?
Yup same as me. As kieren said gave a look at you sensor readings on the commander and see what drops out. But what ever is dropping out is the fault of the ecu. Ive tried every bolt on part on mine and nothing fixed it.
Well i couldnt get any pics to upload but the boxes that are blacked out are IGN,ECC,WRN, and EXT ( is this bad lol)
Dont really understand the controllers im sure theres others settings that will show you voltage at the coils etc. No didnt speak to apexi and they'd want a small fortune. Had a guy on here look at it but didnt get fixed so just gonna replace mine.
ya i have no idea wtf that was suppose to mean. from what i got out of it, no absolutly no brake or throttle input changes anything. it fires up and imediatly dies i checked the map sensor votage and that is working properly the map tracer function on the commander tho is reading in the upper left corner i was told that this means decel. what would cause that?? sensor page now that i fixed my map sensor wireing.
