Hi guys. Anyone using this rad in a drifter? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=350568245637 Any feedback? Good or junk? Seems cheap.
I've no idea what they are? What makes them better? Thicker cores or just the brand? I'm putting it into an old triumph with a Bmw v8. S14 dimensions aren't far away for what I need and people seem to be transplanting these v8's into s14's.
Should be ok, but you can get a Japspeed radiator for £110 I think if you're a member of SXOC. I use a Japspeed S14 Radiator on my bmw e30 4.0 v8, you'll also need a 1.5 bar radiator cap if you going bmw v8.
That's what I thought! Oh very good, do you use your e30 for drifting competitively or as a road car? Trying to eliminate the need for a header bottle and unnecessary pipework. Does anyone fancy offering me their SXOC discount code? [emoji106][emoji106]
You don't need a discount code, just join SXOC and you're a member. Look in the trade section and it tells you how to order. My e30 only gets used for drifting. You wont need the header bottle so plug the hose and remove it, just fill radiator by the cap.
I think this one may work even better for me and my dimensions. http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread....um-Radiator-High-Capacity-Super-Flow-Race-Rad Thanks for the pointer!
100mm should be great, mine is only the standard 50mm, and that's an awesome price for a 100mm radiator.
That's what I thought, as @stavros says above tho, I'm going to have a look on eBay for the same rad unbranded [emoji106] and the 1.5 cap.
I will let you into a little secret,,,..... don't tell anybody,,,... ....are you ready,,,,.... ......2fast2cool IS japspeed.....!!!.....
Ordered the 100mm rad today, where is the best place to pick up a 1.5bar cap? On eBay I can see 1.1 & 1.3 but no 1.5's.
No idea. Unless people think 99% of the countless eBay sellers of this kind of stuff all happen to be different companies located in the same small part of the UK, it's fair to say it don't matter who you buy off, it's likely to be the same thing. They're cheap and work, don't fret too much which name you buy off.
