CA18det tranny to RB20det Engine?

    hi guys, need your expert advise regarding below.
    I know this probably is discussed already in this forum ages ago but i suck in diggin down the right topics.

    Will it fit?

    i have: CA18det Engine w/ CA18det Tranny (180sx)
    Planning to install: RB20det Engine (w/out tranny)

    Will my CA18det tranny fit the RB20det engine? any modifications needed or straight bolt-on?

    it will if you stick the rb20 bellhousing on the ca18 gearbox

    is there any detailed info i can refer to for it? tried checking on the net but to no avail.
    sorry im not so good with the mod.

    reason for this is RB20 tranny is rare and expensive in my place, and i have both in the garage right now. (CA18det complete & RB20det engine only)

    the ca18 bellhousing will not bolt to the rb20 engine
