    Usual rule of thumb is you pay for what you get ...

    It is a bad quality plenum, but if you wont be bolting and unbolting will do the work.
    My mate have same in his rb25 and the issues working on it was
    Scratches near holes due to torque
    Sensor leaking due to bad quality of bolt pattern

    Spend a few hours cleaning the internals and they do the job. For the money you can't complain.

    Why not just do what most people seem to and have the original hole welded up and a new one for the throttle body at the front?

    Because it wouldn't be shiny enough.

    Because it's going into my s14 and apparently so I've heard the bonnet won't close even with spacer or raisers.
