E46 2.2 to 2.8 conversion help needed!! Nearly there

    Hi all, got a e46 which had a 2.2 engine and uv put a 2.8 in. Everything is connected bar the rad, exhaust lights etc but I've tried to turn the engine over tonight and it acts like a low battery when you get the loud clicking, exact the front pulleys do turn but only slightly as though something is stopping it. Anyone have any ideas? Would REALLY REALLY appreciate any help.cheers

    Maybe the battery is flat. You sure you've got all the earths/positives in the right place?

    Pretty sure I have but I'm back there today so will give everything a good double check

    All sorted :) battery just needed a good charge

    Hi mate can I ask how you got around the electronic throttle issue? As I'm sure I'll be facing a similar problem when I do my mates 318 to 328 on his e46 compact, i do have a complete donor car.
