can an electronic actuator on a turbo be converted to manual??

    hi ya guys and girls,

    as per title can an electronic actuator on a turbo be converted to manual?? i have a bmws e46 320d that I'm trying to make bit quicker, i have done the usual remaps etc, but want to put a bigger turbo on it but its got an electronic actuator which limits what i can do with it all.

    any help would be great, cheers

    Pretty sure you could fab a mount to bolt on the electric vnt actuator.

    usually it can be mapped in to boost to where you want it too, mapper should be able to do it unless hes just loading on generic maps
