I bought a twin turbo soarer not long ago.
    N reg 1995 model.
Everything was going great. Lots of power and boost creating lots of smoke from the tyres when I wanted etc ;)
Then after some playing around the next day I went out and no boost.
Car drives ok but obviously seriously slow. But can get it over national speed limit.
Been looked at as much as I can and found

Actuators hold vacuum, no noise from turbo, no boost leaks, no plumes of smoke.
Car can't break traction and feels like when setting off its in "snow" mode.
Turning traction control off makes no difference either.
Mechanic doesn't think it's mechanical but maybe electrical??
Don't have much time at the moment as busy working away every other week etc but hoping somebody may know??
    Thanks in advance

Are you 100% sure theres no boost leaks? Do you have a boost gauge, if so what figures are you getting? Ive had a pipe pop off before and the msot boost you ever saw was 0.

A couple of people have looked and said it don't appear to have leaks.
There is no gauge yet. I shall get 1 to see where I stand with it

Ill pretty much guarantee its a pipe off somewhere. If it was something serious electrical you'd no doubt get a warning. Pulled the error codes?

    Wouldn't you here it??
    There's no warning lights showing.
Not been able to get codes.

Id hope so! Maybe you've been unfortunate enough to suffer twin ceramic turbine failure? Very, very rare.
But basics first, go over all the pipework, ALL of it, even the stuff that cant be seen. If the timing had slipped you'd still expect to get some boost.
Failing that get a boroscope up the exhaust and inspect the turbines.

Pipe work has been gone over.
Somebody said it sounds like rear turbo could of gone due to heat??
I think it's getting some boost. But probably less than half than it had.
Not got a boroscope so will have to do it the old fashioned way lol.

If timing had slipped would it still run like it does??
It runs and revs 100%. It's only when you put drive that there's nothing.

Just put a boost gauge on and there's no boost :(
    Vacuum is at around 20psi
When driving it sits bang on zero
