I have recently finished my engine, bottom end running forged internals, oem crank shaft, acl bearings, acl orbit oil pump and using 15 50 motul oil. I took the readings from a prosport oil pressure gauge. Cold start reads 80-90psi and warm idle reads 20-25. Some times it drops to 10 psi on idle. That is what's bodering me.. :/ can any one give me some suggestions on the problem.

Seriously impossible to say without hearing/seeing/feeling/licking etc.
Disasemble again and look for errors....but first of all, check your gauge and try another one

Your best bet is to check your gauge and disasemble everything like oilcooler, thermostat, relocationkit etc etc.
so back to stock (if there is something)
If its not that or simply your gauge reading wrong...well you have a problem :D

Raise the Idle RPM....i had the same issue with all the SR's i've built...or get the RNN11 oil pump. My daily SR idles hot with 15psi pressure, and the old one, with the RNN11 pump ran 20psi hot. AND OIL COOLER!

Got an external oil cooler and am running an acl orbit oil pump. Will try raising idle, its 850rpm stock right?

Any oil you can suggest? Over here we suffer from heat, summer is as hot as 30-40 degrees.

Anything name brand. Keep the numbers the same though.

The only other thing other than a faulty oil pump could be that your oil pick up is dented and restricting flow. The heavier weight oil could be masking this when cold.

But best to try a different gauge & sender first
