I recently bought a 180sx rolling shell and im building it up as a drift car I am torn between rb25 and 1j whats the pros and cons and also gearbox choices
a well setup RB can run just as well as a JZ. I run mine at 420bhp with no issues at all although I'm doing an upgradings this winter
1j is a lot more expensive route to go down, initial cost and tuning wise. But are know for being pretty much bullet proof and capable of more power than an rb. Age old thing of you get what you pay for I suppose. But for better responses what the use of the car? Solely drifting, road legal drifter or fast road occasional drifter and what sort of bhp do you want to be hitting? And is it on a budget? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Solely a drift car its guna be all done over next few months if I had 400hp at the wheels id be pretty happy
