Can anyone suggest an External gate setup for Twin TD04 setup on V8?

What Sizes/ brands should I look at?

I've seen Tials on Ebay approx. £250 each, they are watercooler, would rather avoid the water plumbing if not nessesary.

Main reason for going External is the awkward orientation the Turbos and therefore standard wastegate actuators will not work without rigging up awkward looking bracket around the Turbos.

probably the best out there, numerous people on here have back to back tested Tial against ebay copies and found the Tials leak like a sieve.

And I wouldn't trust an ebay copy, I run turbosmart on my s13 and s14, reasonably priced as well.

    As above, I'm running a 40mm compgate with a td04 19t.

Buy from a reputable dealer lots of chinabay fakes out there.

You can rotate/clock the housings and weld new brackets on for the original wastegate actuator ( remove dowel pin from inside of compressor cover etc before trying to rotate the housings though )
Some of the Starlet guys just do that

As for which gate...Powermax in Cookstown sell Precision stuff so easy to get local. Anywhere in the 38-40mm range would be plenty. Although their 46mm would work fine too, I use them on mine and have used on a few other cars with no issue.

And even with the watercooled gates, you dont have to use water if the application doesnt demand it.

I didn't think it would have been possible to weld to the standard cold side alloy housing tidily!

If they work they work. And they do work.

But external will give you more versatility, and will likely be easier to install in this application. Long term they will be the better option.
