dash dodger rollcages

Just to clarify the position.....

As you all know, dash dodger cages are not allowed in EDC, this specifically means the type with multiple bends (3 or more)in the front leg which means they wrap around the dash. The concern is in the additional bends weakening the cage - especially when theses cages often have quite severe bends in them..

The type that pass down between the dash and the driver are ok - providing they still leave a sensible amount of space in the door for the driver to get out quickly and if the tubing (and welding) is up to spec.
On some cars this type of cage may make the door very hard to get out of so please consider that.
