| -NightWalkers- | Yeh, it was made doubly tricky because of the cage going through the firewall in a V. So I decided I'd weld in 4 panels into the sides (2 each side, one either side of the tubes). I made cardboard templates then transferred them to sheet metal and tweaked them. For the top of the parcel shelf I rough cut a sheet of ally, folded the front edge down in a big sheet metal bender and split the middle of the fold vertically to allow me to flex the panel slightly to get it in and for it to be snug enough between the pillars. I just used a flap wheel in a grinder to clean up the rear edge where it meets the rear screen so it actually butts up flush to the rear window now. |
