Good luck to everyone who's got the normal last minute dash to get a car together. I know how much it takes it out of you. Remember... don't panic, it'll get done sooner if you don't start worrying and fretting. Hope to see you all there on Saturday.

Carter-get a shave too, or your lid won't fit

Bruno's turbo and manifold are done, I ordered a bonnet towing eye and some tow stickers today, so fitting them when they arrive. Tyres, gauges, oil change and haircut in the meantime.

Well, all except for Bruno snapping a turbo mounting stud yesterday, which means the manifold and turbo coming off later today.

Good luck with your tasks, and see yers at the weekend

Im really close now.
Reattch pull cords to their respective holes and tidy up.
Remove dash and sort the clock ligfhting which has been doing my nut since I fitted the cage. Then once thats done I need to put 8" of fire hose from the T peice to the drivers nozzle.
Just back from fitting the tow eye so thats another thing off the list.
Its getting aligned tomorrow while Im at work.
Tomorrow is tidy up and sort the little things day - need to check somethign on the battery cut out as it was a bit of a rush last time...
Then its off to my brothers on Thursday PM for the bonnet pull mount to be fab'd up.
Ive got ALL my tyres and wheels sorted. New tyres on the front as they were fcuked and probably not helping with my lack of front end grip

Only pisser is that I wanted to play with the ride height prior to setting the gemoetry but I ran out of time tonight as my mate wanted to come home and he had the keys to the unit

The FIA gloves and boots (which I realised last Thursday that I needed and hadnt got) arrived yesterday too and luckliy they fit too

Lets hope it all goes to plan for everyone!

Ive now lost count how much all this upgrading has cost me

Just got home myself !!!

Still a fair bit to do,

New engine gets run in on Abbeys dyno tomorrow and then mapped as we have run out of time to run it in on the road !!!

Then tomorrow evening its a case of finish the wiring of non essentials, finish of spraying the inside of the car and the new cage. Refit the seats and harnesses, bleed all the brakes, finish fitting the wings and bodykit which has been repaired/altered/sprayed. Finish tidying up some of the rear wiring loom which is still in a bit of a mess from my antics with hole cutters, and air hacksaws

We have done loads of preparatory setup stuff today though, corner weighted the car and redone all the geometry as well as checked all the adjustment of various parts.

Should be an interesting couple of days !!!

J.
