| We finished the oil pump swap on the RB25DET, and managed to get the car to alignment by about 4pm. Turned out nearly every single bolt on the drivers side of the rear subframe/suspension was loose, and the main drive shaft nut was loose, this all equated to over a cm of movement on the back wheels .. That's what you get when you try to align the car on the tarmac at Teeside with the wrong size spanners, and 8 hours sleep in 48 hours .. Got that all sorted, and the car now feels nice and tight now ..Only problem is.. I've developed a really really bad misfire on boost. I think I've completely knackered the previously cracked and repaired inlet manifold... Foooooooook Now I need to find an RB25DET inlet manifold by tomorrow morning, as I'm only 95% sure that that's the problem. |

that part of the regs is pretty much the same as last years D1GB: 4-19. Drivers must wear approved fire protective apparel and safety device/s with a minimum equipment level of: Crash helmet (open face helmets are allowed although we recommend full face), racing overalls, racing boots, gloves and balaclava. Optional equipment recommendation: Fire proof undergarments and HANS device marc | |

| A bit late in the day to be putting it into another car, Simon. Mister Smith appears to have his work cut out with his 180 too. Good luck with them both fellas, and hopefully we'll see you all tomorrow. I'm going to wash and pack the car today, do a couple of little bits and maybe make a tow eye in case my one doesn't rock up. |
