Who's ready then? Haha funny question that isn't it ..Despite the constant battling, the S15 is no where near ready (with the amount of work going into it, it's not really suprising eh!) To be honest we're really going to struggle to get it ready for round 2, but the battle will continue!! Anyway, that means that we've been bringing the R32 up to EDC spec. We've had an annoying grinding/squeeling noise and super high oil pressure on start up for the last couple of times I've driven it, so Clarkey has removed the oil pump to find it's absolutely fubbard. The new oil pump arrives at Nissan today. Also we've had a litte revamp of the looks of the 32, stuff has been in and out of paint this week, and I've just got to make the main body that I painted 6 months ago match this new professionaly painted stuff . Cage is in, and a new seat in to accomodate my girth . and we've got fire extinguishers etc under control I think. Fingers crossed, we'll not be doing an all nighter Thursday/Friday morning..Bon's on the other hand is a little worse for wear .. He's busted his ball's to get the car ready, but at the 9th hour, with a serious lack of rollcage, and having slept an average of 4 hours a night for the last 2 months, it's taking it's toll on him. We're racking our brains, and really hoping that Julian will finish the cage in the S15 in time to get Bon's done.. Everyone cross your fingers for us

Couple of bits and pieces, oil changes etc and we're good to go for Friday. Well, all except for Bruno snapping a turbo mounting stud yesterday, which means the manifold and turbo coming off later today. Good luck with your tasks, and see yers at the weekend

Not so bad this year, all the hard work was done before last years season, I've spent a few hundred quid just sorting the engine/gearbox mounts and fitting a metal headgasket this year, so hopefully that'll be it mechanically. just need to find some tyres! that's the problem with this drifting lark! it's cheap but fierce on ze rubber! ![]()

I don't feel too sorry for you either of you as you at least have working cars to use. My problem is not having a fixed/working car to get anywhere near a practice day so I can get anywhere near the skill involved in taking part in any competitions! I feel like selling up and walking before i've done anything.Good luck tho ![]() | |

If there's more of a chance of getting Bon Bon's car done in time, would it not be an idea to roll the Frankensilvia out of the way for the time being and let his car get finished first? Or is it not that simple..

I took a look at this a couple of weeks ago, and decided I didnt have the time money or skill to go for EDC licensing FULL respect to those of you pulling everything out of the bag to get there, and fingers crossed for you all, especially Bon - didnt get the chance to speak to you at Teeside but I saw you talking to Stav and you looked a bit 'tired' ![]()
