| Well, I had a great weekend. Everyone really gave it their all, and it showed. Commiserations to Phil. Paz mentioned to me that you were having car troubles, and it definitely showed on track. But it was really great to see you out on the Sunday supporting from the trackside Bonbon also put in a great performance throughout the weekend. He also had us all praying he got the car sorted within the 5 minute period he was allowed after what I presume was that returning boost hose problem. I'm sure everyone was relieved when we heard that engine note coming from the top of the hill with only 10 seconds to spare Big respect to Paz, firstly for gaining your licence, and of course for getting into the top 16, but also for your excellent form throughout the whole of the weekend. I believe the only think separating you and Johnny in the end was his greater angle through the corners. Huge congratulations to Mark of course. A great final showdown, and a convincing win. Top form fella Oh, and also, having experienced a drifting event without Maz behind the mike, I really appreciated his presence for round one. It just ain't the same without you fella ![]() |

| Let me introduce myself, I was the starter for the Gentlemen of Drift at this round and apart from the odd "incident" with a couple of miscreants trying to run me over or promptly fall asleep I thought it went pretty well. I've got to say that looked a really nasty first corner, the way you guys scrubbed off the speed and carried the entertainment on through the rest of the course was mighty impressive. Thanks for making my job an easy one. Ta very much. |

| Really enjoyed the whole weekend, I was hanging around in Nials hardship camp spilling petrol all over and wandering around looking at the flange (especially that kicker girl with the dark hair, Fookin Hell!!) Nice to talk to the irish lads and the guys from weston, everyone was really friendly and good crack. I was suffering from the sunburn though. Lookin forward to next round at Silverstone. P.S congrats to mark on the well deserved win Fletch. |

| Pimms O'clock ![]() | Well I thoroughly enjoyed every min of it I'm thoroughly sunburnt still knackered but the is still there just thinking of the waaaarrrrrppp through the chicane transition onto the pit straight I cruised the nback Soarer home, still in one piece from obviously spectators as I cruised slowly back home down the motorwayA couple of suggestions for EDC peeps that might aid us all In the pit area, a big board with times & stuff on & a clock!! saves 30 drivers searching for bits of paper & watches, if there's a time change just change the clock or make on a note on the board. No one can complain they did'nt see it too Dec |

and waves from fellow drivers and their team. was a very long and very tiring weekend. it started on thursday for us, working through the night with moffatt and cas to rebuild the car and then on the friday with james (dme mechanic) too. these guys were true stars and worked their bollox off to help us (and definately earned the dinner i'd pre cooked). just when we though we had the car running on friday evening the radiator exploaded, shooting the cap off and scolding moffatt's arm in the process(bless him.. 3 1/2 hours in A'n'E), but we carried on and finally got to the hotel friday night not long after 11pm, to get 6 hours sleep and then get to the circuit for saturday..si missed the first practise session as he still had a few things to do to the car and the second practise session was hindered, but the suspension being SO SO low that it was catching on the wings and riping the tyres/bodykit.. but we managed to get it raised in time for qualifying... unfortuantely for si, he didn't make it through, but then he didn't expect to as he was running a car that he'd never driven before the 2nd practise session and that wasn't set up properly.. he was just glad to be there... it did mean however, that he got to chill out on the sunday and enjoy the action whilst i was photographing it.. if that wasn't a tiring enough weekend, si went back to work yesterday and hasn't got a day off until friday.. fingers crossed we'll be more prepared and set up for round two... (also like to thank the guys who lent us bolts/ tools and to mark and mel for helping me put the stickers on the car for si | |
