| -NightWalkers- | I think Phil was struggling through the first two corners, running wide on the second clipping point on most runs and not carrying as much angle as the others were. To be honest though today, barely a handful impressed me. Granted its a new season and all that but it just didn't seem as if the skill level had carried on from where it left off at the final round last year... still shaking off the winter blues? Possibly. |

| Yep, I didn't qualify for the top 16 for the first time since I started competing . One of the many things I did to get the car ready was to change every single rear end component to give it traction, as it was somewhat lacking in that department previously. This worked, but the new traction unfortunately meant that the suspension was struggling, and actually lifting the rear inside wheel and causing horrible understeer. Then after 6 hours of trial and error changing almost every setting on the car, I made that slightly better, but the extra traction broke the handbrake which is the most essential component to have at that Donington track with it's high speed entry. It then broke the clutch, so it kept spinning it up instead of the wheels. I'm not giving up on the 32, I'll have to get these things sorted, as the way it's looking at the moment, my S15 wont be ready for round 2 either.. I had a great weekend despite not qualifying. Supporting from the sidelines is great fun , and I'm not sure if I was watching the same thing as some people, but the skill level I saw out there today, was very easily recognisable as even better than last year, it's an extremely challenging track to get right, so fair bloody play to everyone that put on a show of that caliber in the top 16 Congrat's Mark Johnston, and congrats James Hudson for Saturday ![]() |

| I had great fun while I was out there. Unfortunately, there was a leak on my clutch line and I lost the clutch going into qualifying so I had to use two hands to get 2nd gear and hope for the best! lol. I got 2 judged runs in but at a lower speed without the 3rd gear so got points deducted, although I managed to qualify I had to give away the place. Phil, from where I was standing, you looked v cool - still, nothing like your own seat, own car and practice, you'll be back on the podium in no time. and Paz, nice one, great to see you out there getting the recognition you deserve imho.congrats to all the guys anyway, I'll be picking up some CA bits then... ![]() |

| team yer maw ![]() | Was a good (if a bit short) weekend, we (i.e. Kieran) had some shit luck between trailer blowouts and a gearbox fatality after about 4 runs of the first practice on Saturday ( ) and weren't quite as prepared as the Irish boys - Mr. Power doing 2 box changes over the weekend? ![]() Contrary to what the man above with the fishing rod says the standard of driving was very good, saw a lot of big improvements from last year...mainly on the speed/entries. Particularly Paz...awesome work sir - that steering lock is mad nuts! Well done to all the winners and qualifiers an ting! |
