Congratulations Mark Johnson!

A well deserved round one victory

The guy was on fire, such an aggressive line in the twin drifting, loved it!

Mark when you read this your either gonna still be on an Adrenalin high or in a slightly alcohol induced state... thats probably an under statement

anyhows BIG WELL DONE once again from Sam and Myself!!!

Also the other guys from Weston Performance; Greg, Chris, Rich, Laurence and Wee'one all need a big well done with the effort and support put in.. sorry if ive missed anyone out!

I got too Weston about 6.30 Saturday morning with wee'one washing the car, Greg hadnt even gone home that night and iirc Chris had only gone home for a quick shower and 30min kip..

What I loved about Mark today, when the other driver sometimes (Brett ) ran wide and Mark just snuck through, skill =D

well done to Mark and also a big well done to everybody else. You peeps put on a great show.

Looking back from after the esses across to the first corner was probably one of the biggest crowds I've ever seen at a strictly UK event.

damn unlucky pete b for spinning out - you were pretty even til that happened.

well done to master bondor for getting that big barge toyota ready - it sounds the nuts and goes damn well by the looks of things.

well done also to the paz - using 99.9999% of the available power all the time and no yanking on the drift handle

If you lot keep up this level of work for the rest of the season its gonna be awesome.

Yep yep, well done to Mark for the win and well done to everyone else too, some good skids from everyone! I have to say a big thanks to all the drivers for their very kind words and encouragement over the 3 days, and thanks to the lads! I had alot of fun! Thanks to the organisers and everyone involved in making it happen too.

And finally, thanks for all the comments on here too guys In the top 4 it felt so close it was hard to say who was gonna go through but im happy at finishing 4th overall and running 4 times with Johnny P was cool. Getting the "Hard Charger" award was a nice finish to the weekend. Hard. haha.

Thanks again, and congrats to Mark.. Nice work everyone

Very impressive weekend of drifting! Well done indeed to Mark, agree fully with Mc2's comment
Like ive said before on another post, i was amazed on how much power Mark had in reserve! For e.g. round the first hairpin bellowing smoke out of the arches as if he was on full tap, and then all of a sudden finding another few thousand rpm's and really making the fecker smoke down the short straight before the chicane! Pure nuts!

Now i know i am biased but seriously the most impressive drive all week end was Paz, just absolute commitment. Flat out, throw it in without the handbrake and keeping it to the boards and sooo smooth around the bends, clipping the apex everytime, just pure skill! Love you man x

I have just come down from cloud 9 and feel very touched by all the mega comments from all. To win the first round after such fine competition makes winning all the more unbelievable. Too many people to thank but thank you to everyone especially the Weston Performance team - Paul, Greg (you're a star) and Chris.

Dunlop Tyres.

Drivers Know.
