| What great 'commentary' Its a shame the opportunity wasn't to give some insight into the drivers or their vehicles was given up to generic cliches to try and make the footage seem exciting - I mean what's the "magnetic effect", and as for the explination of getting points for your own style of driving... I'm sure while Paz and Jonny Power were battling the commentator said Jonny Power was driving an R34?! Anyway, good to see it on tv. Have to say I loved Brett's entry following Mark Luney. ps - was the footage meant to be so.. 'contrasty' ? |

| -NightWalkers- | Well I almost fell asleep watching that. Commentary was piss poor and thats putting it kindly with moments of absolute silence and just the sound of an engine, talking over Mark Lunney's interview, mentioning Mark Johnston as the winner of the championship, going through the points table only for it to dissapear and the program to end with the commentator babbling on and ending with "well you saw the table, just like I did" Very unprofessional in my honest opinion. Its good from a drivers point of view I guess, being able to show TV coverage to sponsors and potential sponsors alike but for someone watching it for the first time with no idea what drifting is... they still wouldn't know having sat through a 30min TV program about Round1 of a championship. That 30mins should have been packed with chat, facts, technical terms and explanations, driver interviews, good commentary and excitement, instead it was slap dash voiceover bloke making things up as he went along and sometimes just forgetting to say anything at all. That American commentator needs the sack, bring in someone who knows what the sport is all about and has character. Still a hell of a long way behind the pinacle of the sport which I deem as Formula D. Formula D = premier league, that last 30mins of my life = sunday league. |

and the 'commentator' is clearly not British. Very much doubt he's American either. Most likely European with supposedly 'good' English - reminded me of the ' this model has increased sportivity' b/s you used to get on their review-based show. Thinking about it, it might be the same guy(s) - Are they French? | |

| Haha, I get the feeling the commentary was done either live or on the first go I thought it was pretty entertaining, had a stiff situation going on over here thats for sure. Shame it was crammed, but the video footage itself was pretty sweet and I can't put a price on pissing my pants for half an hour. |

| Good effort all round for getting it up there. Bit worried about the overall production and commentary though, hopefully we can collectively pass some constructive thoughts over to Clash Productions? Maybe use broadcast quality cameras instead of Sony XLR's and possibly take a close look at how Option produce their drift coverage. The commentary was a real letdown and my friends watching it just got confused due to the rushed schedule. That said, it's a huge leap and great to see some mates up on the tellybox keep up the good work, I reckon it'll be better at Silverstone (cos my car might not break! lol!) |

| commentary was absolutely awful!! the long pauses between useless phrases was noticable in the extreme!! talking over interviews , very poor and rushed i felt. the action however was good. saw a few bit's i missed on the day ( mr gunn going banjo being one of them ) but to a lay person not enough technical information or description of how it really works. could've used an hour for the first one , easy!! |
