| D1 big hit ..... the aftermath a few drivers that remain nameless need to do some safety work and/or get new helmets before silverstone - all were noted for follow up please dont forget! from memory: helmets - must be to EDC regs - NO motorcross engine cut out switches/ battery isolators plumbed extinguishers if these items are not fully up to spec the car will not be going out to play..... even on the friday! mr unpopular this decision was made last week but today seemed a good day to post itLast edited by scrutineer : 01-05-2007 at 10:39. |

| dorifto kingu! ![]() | can i ask why motorcross helmets are excluded? just thinking out load here.... but bailing out of a jump say 15-20 foot above the ground would give a harder knock/blow to the head than say kncoking yourself against some rollcage padding strapped into your car with your lovelly bucket seat and harness holding you inplace. |

and the acu gold test is pretty much a useless bit of paper (IMHO) due to its alleged abuse in the past by manufacturers of cheap (crap) helmets we do not put these rules in place to make you spend money - they are there for the drivers safety thread closed Last edited by scrutineer : 01-06-2007 at 22:38. | |
