fella, I hope this is just a 'morning after' knee jerk reaction, you'd be a fool to give up on a series just because you've had a less than great weekend mechanically - we all have our fair share of bad luck, just pick yourself up and crack on.

Hope you can sort it.

Well the offer is there anyway, they'll stay on the shelf for you if you need them or anything from them.

I wish it was mate, I am simply completely and utterly out of money. This weekend has cost me almost £4k and I haven't and can't pay it at the moment. Season is well and truly over unfortunately, no EDC, no Eurodrift.

Yeah maybe i am a nutter but i wanted to see Bon and Mark run more more time, then one of the questions that has been raised wouldn't need answering.

If the crowd HAD made a bit more noise and chanted for one more time it may have happened, who knows

I thought drifting was about crowd participation

It was like being sat in a bloody morge half the time, when i first sat down i could see teeshirts, caps, drift clothing in general and thought they would have been well up for it.. Wrong

Then when i shout "ONE MORE TIME" all i got was a few laughs and a few smiles, i was trying to provoke the crowd into making some more noise..

Just wait for Teeside when i've got a microphone in my hand and the freedom to crowd surf (if you catch my drift )

The event for me was top notch as usual, thank you to all the effort of the EDC team, wouldn't have your job for all the tea in China

Can i just say that the atmosphere in the paddock is the best i've seen since/felt i've been competing at this level, the way everyone is aiming for the same goal, ie puttin on a good show and enjoying them selves with it was fantasic!

The amount of work Phil and James H had to put in to run on Sunday was a testament to their commitment to drifting ! Mucho respect

I hope to see you at Teeside James, you know that !

Cypher, Hobs and I were all shouting giving the team a boost! Apparently I was one of Bon's few fans in the stand when Maz asked!
Cant wait for the next round...maybe we should all meet up and re-form the rent-a-crowd group from D1GB? Airhorns and all

Thanks buddy, but there isn't a hope in hell of me being there unless someone cuts me a cheque for £5k in the next 5 days. When lets face it, I also don't have a hope in hell of doing

Shit thats fucking bad news man, your one of the fucking most talented drivers out there! If not driving your own car, you must be able to get to drive a "works" car for someone, you've got the skills to do that!

lol There are no works drives, and nobody gets them really, how many works drives this year??

Apex... Tim Marshall, who has a 'real motorsport' background through Palmer.
SVA... Buff
Abbey?? Brett, but it's his car so...

Any other works teams aside from Driftworks?

K-Sport is "works" is it not??

Is the Weston car one as well??

And thinking about it, Dave Rustons Silvia is effectively a works car as well .....

I was under the impression there was:
Apex R33
DCY R32
Weston S13
SVA S13
SVA Z33
Whifbitz FD3

and then close, but not really 'works'
Driftworks Chaser
Driftworks R32/S15
Autoglym Starlet
Abbey S14

as those four are privately owned by their drivers even if some/all bills are paid by someone else.

I could be wrong, but most other drivers like me have to pick up the tab for pretty much everything even down to paying the extra for the EDC stickers, and it's just not worth it anymore

Driftworks R32 and S15 are owned and funded by DW. Chaser is owned and funded by me I wish I had the tab picked up but I don't, just help where DW can.

Forgot Weston and Whifbitz

You have to pay for the stickers!!!!!

That seems strange to me.

Did i miss the part in this round when they line all the drivers up and introduce them to the crowd?
