| EDC Round 2 Qualifying Results from Friday 1st June Below are the drivers from Friday that are going through to the top 16 Final on Sunday: Maciej Polody v Brett Castle James Hudson v Tony Green Stephen Evans v Alan Mc.Cord Ben Broke Smith v Mark Buckle Mark Luney v Declan Hicks Chris Parry v Niall Gunn James Grimsey v Ian Harrison Phil Morrisson v Peter Barber Yesterday saw a few casualities due to the hot weather and Silverstones demanding layout, specifically Mark Johnston in the Weston Performance Silvia who is leading the Championship from Round 1 and unfortunately did not qualify even after giving it his all in the car that ended up basically running without the use of the turbo. Phil Morrisson went home to change his engine after having to qualify in Steve Ushers car and James Hudson is currently hunting down turbos for his Skyline. Brett Castle managed the highest entry speed at 97mph - 157kph and we are sure this speed be broken on Sunday. A well done to Steve Carter, Paul Conlan (Steer From The Rear) and Steve Usher all achieved Licences yesterday with Steve Carter and Paul Conlan going through to Sundays main event as reserves 1 and 2. EDC had a Eurosport film crew at Silverstone yesterday and has another suprise film crew for the main event on Sunday, watch this space. Regards, |

| spl dori master | I heard there were a few casualties besides James Best wishes to those trying their best to sort things for tomorrow's comp. All being well, we should have James up and running again later this arvo. Managed to get a pair of turbo's from Julian at Garage-D (BIG THANKS TO JULIAN FOR BACON SAVING AGAIN!!!) - had James call in there on the way back to us here at SRB and I now have our soon to be spanner monkey guy Lance fitting them. Rest assured we're doing all we can to get the car out there tomorrow! |

UKD1 had 2 parts of transition. This started at Bridge and then went into Priory/Brooklands/Luffied. Current layout uses the main straight on the short national circuit so heading straight into brooklands and then Luffield. Entry speed is therefore a lot higher than UKD1 days.

I personally thought he had way more entry speed than Brett did into the first turn. He should be in with a shout on sunday.

| spl dori master | James's skyline is running again, with new turbo's, new oil pump and new shells up it. It's been almost non stop work since 10am yesterday and by almost I mean a break of enough time to eat something for lunch and dinner! HUGE thanks to Lance for all his work, to John for lending a hand and for everyone else who turned up for support, even if it was just to keep morale up and people awake lol We're now packing up tools etc and loading the car onto the trailer for the trip to Silverstone in the morning. Thank you and goodnight lol ![]() |
