Big thanks to Maz.. lyrical genius!

For the first time in ages i was a spectator at an EDC event, so it was the first time in a year or so that id heard Maz on the Mic..

The gaps that inevitably happen between some runs were filled with a combination of banter, and technical talk, and although its hard to look at it from the average spectators point of view, im sure that it was good to hear the info about the drivers and cars etc...
Despite rumours that Maz was on the sauce in the afternoon, a stirling job was done

thanks for keeping us all entertained mate :thumbs :

I agree, I thought the commentary was excellent, really made me laugh at points, and definately filled the time between runs with something entertaining to listen to! Nice work!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I've been having issues with myself as I was getting concerned that I may only be appealing to the hardcore fans so i've been trying to dumb it down but allowing for the finer points to be communicated also. really difficult to choose the words off the cuff, but thats the job i guess.

Despite the rumours I was not drunk at round 2. if anyone wishes to offer me a drink at knockhill I will be happy to accept. although Alcohol does tend to destroy my voice so i should leave the drinking until after the event.

I did like the way that at the beginning of the day you were running through every sponsor Niall Gunn had and then by the end of the day it was "Niall Gunn in the multi-sponsored 180sx"

Ah Maz, my little commentating dumpling !!!!

It was a very good commentary, that went almost Pythonesque at times !!! I still cant believe you answered your phone when i rang you on live commentary !!!! Hope you liked the message mate - it was meant with love, as was the "YOU SUCK !!!"

I think that without you and your obvious enthusiasm the whole show would be a much poorer place, and hope that the TV company realise what a mistake they are making by not having you do the voicover for the program. Even when you are talking about the weather and your lack of friends it made us all chuckle, so dont worry pal, just keep up the good work !!!

Great hat, great atmosphere, great commentary!
Sooner or later the TV guys will work out what they are missing! Also they'll realise that if Maz's unique form doesn't appeal to all their viewers the "mute" button on peoples TV's will stop them loosing ratings!!

i've already said this somewhere else but bear with me....
My boy loved every minute of it, you helped me help him to understand at least the basics and the principles of what was happening, you were funny, articulate and informative in equal measures plus you looked like a fool so i just had to say

CHEERS DUDE!

keep up the good work, hope to see you again soon!

Maz you didn't need to apologise for not knowing the time attack drivers names - they were in the circuit guides which were free for spectators and your drifting commentry was the best commentry I've heard at any event at a circuit
