13 April to 18 June

Phase 2
7 September to 29 October
Please note: additional weekends may be required if weather slows progress

The northbound carriageway will be closed and a contraflow will be in operation from 19.00 on Fridays until 06.00 on Mondays.
Looks like you guys will be up inbetween the phases which is good news

Yep they are little bastards.Smoking helps but nothing on this earth seems to stop them.

Except maybe Chuck Norris.

If you are thinking of coming to watch,do it

And bring even more people.Last year had the best atmosphere of any drift event I've ever been to and I've got a hunch that this year is going to be a blast.

That rules out any laydee-flesh on show, which sucks, as I had plans...

Group buy on Bhurkas?
Scotlands full of em if youre anywhere in the country, and they do come out in the evening, not so much if its windy or cold. Theyre tiny little things that bite you and before you know it youre covered in bites, and they want to crawl into your eyes and nose and generally annoy you.

That mean that they wont be working during the EDC? I see they cleverly avoided the BTCC at knockhill by one week too.

Cant wait for this! Im hopefully gonna try for a licence. See you all there!

Wow i just looked at the price! didnt realise it was over £200 to go for the licence and compete.

Do i have to pay for both up front? Im worried that i pay £200 then either my car isnt up to scratch for some reason or i fail to get the licence.

I'll be covering about 850miles over the weekend.

Heading up on Saturday morning...should get there by 4pm! 6 hour drive.

Stay over night near Carlisle then off to Elvington for TOTB 6 the next day.

Just hope the weather is nice.

Normally they look at people wearing repellant and go "hey look at this one lads! He's got gravy and everything!!" They are little bastards.

Hmmm doesn't sound very inviting then does it!!! Might need to bring one of those suits the bee keepers wear to keep them damn midgers at bay. We were really looking forward to coming to this event but now we're like ummm maybe it's gonna be an uncomfortable day.

On Another note
Does Knockhill have a media center with internet connection???
Have got a feeling we are going to need it just to stay abreast of all the emails we've been getting.

Midges...seriously no way to aviod them apart from wearing the bee keeper's suit??
One reason why I've moved to England from Japan was that there is no mosquito, but I didn't consider Scotish insects...
