Round 2 EDC Race Report 2007

Morning,

Please find below the top 10 position results after yesterday's fantastic event at Scotlands Knockhill Circuit.

Once again spectators came from far and wide to watch the action - with even more spectators than last year ( with unofficial figures of DOUBLE the amount of spectators from last year ) and once again making the event a huge success, despite the weather!

The weather held in the morning however it didnt last and rained on and off to make for difficult conditions on track with varying conditions for the drivers to contend with.

Further details and the official report to follow shortly, for now, the top 10 results were :

1st - Mark Johnson
2nd - Mark Buckle
3rd - James Grimsey
4th - Tony Green
5th - Maciej Polody
6th - Peter Barber
7th - Niall Gunn
8th - Alan McCord
9th - Mark Luney
10th - Declan Hicks

Although we are yet to calculate the Championship standings, it is clear that the results from this weekend make the EDC Finals (Round 4 ) at North Weald even more exciting with a handful of drivers having the Championship within their sights.

We would also like like to congratulate the following drivers that gained an EDC licence after the licencing session yesterday, proving thier skill and machine level to compete in the Championship - they were :

Daniel Ayles
Shane Lynch
Dermott Mcullagh

Well done to all and thank you to those who came out to support the team and drivers ,full report to follow from Maz in the next day or so.

what am amazing day! well done to the orginisers and all the drivers! shame about the weather but thats Scotland for you lol

I reckon Dan even more so as he got into the last 16 straight away and put on a good show even then, got some bloody good wet weather speed
