| Knockhill Congratulations to Mark Johnstone for the win yesterday. Well done to every one else for a great effort, and very well done to Bladey for 3rd place. Thanks to everyone involved for their hospitality and friendship and special thanks to Andy, Rob, Glen, Phil, Bon, Paz and Maz for looking after us and really making us feel welcome. Thanks again Andy for lending me your helmet for the passenger ride with Phil. Sorry to any one who missed out on getting a T shirt but we gave out close to 100 and ran out, we will have more for the next event. Thanks to Tsubaki, Mel and Jays Girlfriend for handing out the Flyers. Pity about the weather though, but luckliy there was no midges. Great to meet all the people we did, too many to list or remember, but off the top off my head Mark Luney, Kenny, Jay, Darren, Stig, Tony, Stuart, Ross, Stavros, Peter Barber very briefly, all the guys at SVA and every one else, Friday night was a blast after travelling for 38 or so hours with only literally 4 hours sleep then straight into a big 10 hour drinking session, no wonder I was walking round like a zombie the next day, jet lag, hang overs and no sleep really do affect your thinking, by Saturday night I was exhuasted. Finally caught up on emails and PMs at the hotel now, so all's good. Great big thanks everyone and looking forward to doin it again. Cheers |

| An EDC round is always nice to watch at good ol Knockers as drifty events are always so damn far away down south for us folk in Scotland. It was a shame for the drivers regarding the weather. IT WAS AWFUL because it just kept changing from torrential downpour to sunny. As a result, made it extremely difficut for drivers to adjust. The rubber laid down from earlier runs when it was dry just turned into grease and so on ![]() And I think it played a part as to why the crowd was so mute. A lot of "mild" drift fans (majority of the crowd) just dont know how hard it is under those spaz condition and were just watching cars constantly spin out, getting beached in the gravel or smacking tires whilst freezing in wet conditions and being bitten to death by midges. Lol at the commentator "Cmon this scottish crowd is RUBBSISH!!" ![]() Takes a lotta balls to say that at a bunch of Scots ![]() It was a shame for the guys trying out for their licenses. Wouldve been nice to see Jeeks get one in the Sierra. But again, the pro guys were struggling too so no shame in not getting it this time I say (Btw Jeeks...got offset?! Nice wheels dude )Also meeting Tsubaki was nice but I really really wanted to steal her umbrella (I didnt bring a fooking jacket sigh)Time attack wasnt that great to watch tbh, was better last year though I think TOTB had a lot to be responsible for due to people wanting to save their engines for that event! But yeah I still enjoyed it and the commentating was brilliant this time . I think im going to dig deeper into my pockets and shift my arse down south for more EDC events for sureNice one. | I had a great weekend! Not quite good enough for the EDC license yet! but i will be trying again! I just about got the hang of it in the team drifting 2day but my choice of 888 on the rear was bad as i couldn't break traction! Great times cant wait to try duffus again! |
