Thanks for all the help guys..

You bunch of legends know who you are, but basically i had 5 practice goes on Saturday and my gearbox took a shit. So i sat out untill the end of the Qualifying session on Saturday and when everybody had finished their runs i filled the gearbox oil back up (thanks Steve "Stig" Evans) and went out to hopefully do my 3 runs and qualify. The gearbox held out and i managed to do my runs and qualified 16th

During this time id been searching for a local gearbox and Jerry (AEsuperG) had a box waiting for me in Cambridge and Ross (Doristars) was prepared to rip up to cambridge to pick it up for me.. Legends! But later on in the evening Simon (Simon86) called saying he had 3 box's lying around and i could borrow one, and they were only 30 minutes away from North Weald! Virtually everyone in the paddock offered to help with the swap at this point! So thanks everyone!

But yeah once the box was sorted Simon said we could use his and Nicks workshop so me, Simon, Sid, Steveo, Kenny, James and Brother Will headed off to the Garage at about 10 or so, got there, unloaded etc and started work on the car with a short (about an hour of eating ) McDonalds break in between. Box was done at 1:30am and was even better than before! Tidied up, loaded back up and we'd finished up at about 2:30am, me and Kenny got back to the Hotel just gone 3am, after 20 minutes of an arsey receptionist, i finally got into my hotel room!

Up at 7am and off to North Weald to do some skids.. And the car ran faultlessly all day.

So just to say thanks to anyone and everyone involved and especially the guys mentioned above. Very much appreciated!

See that's what I call drama!

Imagine if we could get a small film crew to film things like that and add it to the show, it'd kick up more drama and more engaging similar to option.

We spent more time eating than spannering to be fair... Watching me polish off a million chicken nuggets, a BBQ chicken thing covered in kakaar and a brace of double cheeseburgers would make good TV. And I sucked the fun out of a McFlurry for afters. Had to save the Big Mac for breakfast.

And the overpriced shit box was 21 years old ACTUALLY.

aww man how cool is that! skidders are the best!

it was cool just lurking about in the drifty bit hiding from the rain under the big orange umbrella on sunday. cool to chat to people.. then i got all shy and star struck in a dumb way. i was gonna be like "hey Phil, you rock! how's the s15?" but he looked busy being Phil n stuff. and then i was gonna say "hey Bon, your Chaser is freakin sweet.. i got me a scruffy GX71 this morning.. wanna be chaser buddies " but he looked busy with the spanners.. Bladey chatting bout his bonkers engine.. Kenny being cheeky.. Ross snaping pics and then Pazwah, duke of manfoot is just you know.. manfooting about. (there were lots of other folks too! sid, chunk, stavros) basically a cool day in the life of a silly goof like me.

anyways the Boi and i concurred the Dori peers were the most sound bunch of people on the planet, helping each other out, doing skids, tolerating lurkers..

i'll stop being a dork now and go away.

it's just generally the people you get to meet and sort of meet that are involved with drifting are very cool. oh god check me spreading the love.. defo going now

Harsh !!!

At least I dont feel the need to dress up like I was stuck in the 70's for people to notice me,

Although to be fair, I think I have reached a size where its impossible NOT to notice me - even from space !!
