You are clearly taking it seriously with that job sheet. Like you say, Tims car control looks adequate from his performance at NW, so the very best of luck. Is it the full circuit? If there is a test session available between you finishing the car and the event that would be of enormous benefit.

Pleace your bets - will the TA cars be as quick as the BTCC? Slicks will help in the corners, but the straights might be a different matter

Its the Indy, not full. We already have issues. One of the GTR hubs has a knackered bearing so weve ordered a new one. More of a problem is that the GTR and GTST prop shafts have a complete different diff flange so we will have to get a custom prop made.

We are planning on doing a fair bit of track work to test the set up although times getting VERY tight!

Just had a phone call from the mechanic, hes managed to swap the input shafts for the diffs so we dont have to get a custom prop made

Also, the BTTC is at Knockhill on the 2nd?

BTCC :: Dunlop British Touring Car Championship

Or have I missed everyone's point when mentioning the BTTC cars?

The FC does belong to John although it looks much better in its present guise.

2 points were being made, laptimes Verus previous BTCC round, and where people will be going on the day, Knockhill, Silverstone, Brands, or the pub.

200 litres of race fuel, new body kit, smaller (lighter) rims, new oil cooler and new engine mount are all on their way to us.

GTR rear end is just about fitted, just waiting for the new o/s wheel bearing to land. Big thanks for Phil for the heads up on the upgrade in the first place

New taller ball joints to re site the roll centre have been fitted and the car already has bump steer adjustable rod ends so we will be able to sit the car low low. Ive got assister springs and adapters on my desk so we can run a load of droop without the springs dislocating.

New stronger selector rod and short shifter will go into the dog box tommorrow.

We are getting there
