Does this helmet meet EDC requirements?

Buying this helmet for a friend who is an EDC driver. Just wondering if this will meet the requirements for EDC this year before I buy it.

It says on the website it is Snell SA2005 approved.

Thanks
Ryan

a snell sa2005 helmet is good - one of the better tests - always worth checking that it actually has\the label before wearing it just in case it hasn't been stuck on -because if the label isn't there then its not usable...... the snell label is usually stuck inside the helmet - often behind the lining its a metallic label with SA2005 printed on it in big letters.

I would guess that it should meet the Requirements.... Simpson Helmets are commonly used for Top Fuel Drag Racing... so the Impact and Number of Impacts are probably a Lot more and Harder than a Drift Car... - Just a Guess... seeing as its nearer the 300Mph Mark lol

cheapest place was on ebay, there's a guy that imports them from america. Though I have decided against this helmet for my friend as he tried one on and the vision is very restrictive. He will have to choose a different style now.
