Judging system now revised for 2008

Judging Amendments for 2008

This year we will have 2 joint judges at the events, sharing the title of ''judge''. Hiroke Furuse aka ''Sleepy'' will now be joined with Maz Yumeda in an official judging capacity.

Maz has always supported Sleepy in the judging process at the events as well as doubling up as the PA for the spectators. This year Maz will have a muhc more direct input into the Judging in an official capacity at EDC Events.

As well as this, former EDC driver ( and current licence holder ) Mark Buckle will join them as a ''Judges assistant'' to further critique the drivers performances in qualifying and the competitions. This move is a result of the high level of drivers which now join our events and the 3 sets of eyes now required to accurately pick up on all the relevant aspects of the judging criteria.

We expect the competition to be even closer this year therefore this step has been made to ensure we continue with fair and correct judging to all the drivers as seen in the past 2 years of competition, equally demonstrating the fair nature in which our Judging takes place which is the backbone of any Drifting event.
