2005 D1 NZ Champion Adam Richards Enters EDC

From the D1NZ forum

2005 D1 NZ Champion Adam Richards Enters EDC

Japaneseusedcars.com are pleased to announce that 2005 D1 NZ Champion Adam Richards is to compete in the Japaneseusedcars.com European Drift Championship beginning from Round 2.

Japaneseusedcars.com have sponsored Adam since the D1 All Stars in California in 2006 and currently sponsor Adam and his RB26 powered Cefiro, we are working with Adam to get his car shipped over to the UK.

He has been approved and accepted by the EDC as a former D1 Champion.

Adam left his Cefiro in California after the 2007 D1 All Stars event with the intention of competing in Formula D however a change in plans and the opportunity to compete in the EDC now means he will get the chance to run against some of the best in Europe.

Adam is expected to arrive in the UK in early May and get himself set up and settled in prior to round 2 at Knockhill.

We are now working to arrange more sponsorship for Adam in the UK.

Adam won't be here for Knockhill now unfortunatly. He is looking to set up in the UK for a while though. If he set's up local to us we'll be helping him out where possible...

Just been a little delay in getting his car out of the states, so his debut in the UK has been moved to Round 3 Silverstone.
