| Getting to Poland... Have any UK competitors looked into pricing it up yet ? Ive done a few quick searches for ferries. So many options is hard to decide where to start. Heres a neat interactive map showing all ferry routes. Direct Ferries - Ferry routes RAC Route Planner is pretty good for doing the route. RAC Route planner So I thought maybe best to use ferry as much as possible to reduce amount of driving, Harwich to Hook of Holland seemed like a good one. (598 miles to Poznan) Stena Ferry 4 Adults 4x4 tow car and 6m trailer Depart - Thu 25th 09:00 Return - Tue 30th 14:30 £262 Dover to Calais to compare (727 miles to Poznan) P&O Ferry 4 Adults, 4x4 tow car and 6m trailer Depart - Thu 25th 09:15 Return - Tue 30th 14:05 £174 So an £88 difference, I know Dover to Dunkerque is probably cheaper than to Calais, havent done that one yet. The saving in petrol by not driving through France, Belgium and Germany may not quite make it worth it ?? anyone have any comments ? as it only looks like about 130 miles difference anyhow and even my Patrol doesnt use £88 worth of fuel in 130 miles (not quite anyhow...). |

| Hi ![]() We usually use P&O ferry dover - calais but remember to book it by their webpage P&O Ferries | Ferries to France | Cross Channel Ferries couse it will be cheeper about 50-70 p. price is about 100-120 p. one way for van with the trailer. Then we use A18 motorway to brugge then A10 to Gent next E17 to St-Niklaas-Antverpen then E34 to eindhoven - duisburg - essen - dortmund and then motorway nr 2 straight to Poland. On E34 motorway between Eindhoven and Venlo (Exit 36) there is nice track inn with very good meal and also they got nice shower cabine very clean for 2 euros In germany look out for undercover police cars. Specially new VW passats and opel vectras. With trailes you can drive about 90-100km/h (50-60mph) we drive about 130-140 km/h (80-90mph) When you hit Poland (Frankfurt /Slubice) drive straight on way nr 2 (E30) to Swiebodzin then in Bolewicko you hit traffic-circle with sign to motorway A2 so turn right on this circle and get to motorway A2 and then straight to Poznan here is 3 maps of geting to Poznan circuit ![]() best regards Arek (I'm always with Maciej on EDC events) ![]() If you have any questions, just ask ![]() |

| touge runner | guys. go to chanell tunnel website. and put your details of your car with trailer. and then put that you are going in one day and coming back on the next one. (its not cheating )with a normal car it cost about 50 pound both ways. but you dont have to use the coming back one. its quicker. better and easyer. ive done that on christmass time and was good. |
