You only need to get the NFS EDC "Pass Scrutineering Kit".

Just wanted some confirmation/feedback as have booked the day off of work and didn't wanna waste it. Also will be a bit off effort getting the car ready, so didn't wanna rush if there was no point.

Just to clarify is the actual event all day? So we are practicing during the day for a Licencing session at the end. What time does it all start?

No, its not all day. It will run from approx 4.00pm for 2-3 hours.
As I understand, there are less than ten cars so there will be plenty of seat time.
