Marshalls here were pathetic, any incident and the crowd were saying "where are the marshalls, are they not going to do anything?" I dont thing todays action was anywhere near as good as last round and i didnt really see how Luney took the last run, thought they were going to have to settle it again Unlucky pete, i was cheering away!!!

Epic day. Without doubt the hardest track to fully link that I've been to. The straight inbetween the second and big third corner was very tricky after coming up the hill. All the corners were deceptively complicated to get right. I was nearly getting it sorted in practice and was confident I could nail it on my judged runs but unfortunately a combination of my diff breaking and not being able to get decent tyres fitted before the event meant I sucked in my judged runs but I had some lots of runs in practice that made it all worthwhile. The standard of driving is so high when you go up against people that as always you get pushed to your limits. Huge huge thanks to Baggsy, Darren, Mark, Jack, Norfy and the boys , without then I wouldn't have even got to the event after blowing my engine on wednesday! You guys rock my world! Also wanted to say a big thanks to Lex and the Drift Taxi boys for taking my Dad, Brother and Sister out. They had a great day. Thanks to everyone organising it

I just really strugled to gt used to it. I was initiating in 4th and shifting to 3rd on the transision to get up the hill but kept on snatching 5th instead of 3rd. So i tryed initiating in 4th dropping to 3rd, this worked loads better and made me carry alot more speed than kicking the fuck out the clutch in 4th. Once i had this extra speed when i was hitting the crest of the hill i was loosing all traction, so i found my self lifting off the throttle to stop a spin but the car just slid off line!!! I spose in hinse sight i should have tweeked the suspension settings but i didnt feel i had time to. I was using 265/35 fedral rsr's at 35psi.

I really loved the track, and tbh was the most confident I had been out of any of the edc circuits to date. Unfortunately the Nissan has other ideas and I think the engine hoist has to come out to sort its dwindling performance ![]() Buff was superb, both car and driving were clearly a level above the rest- the pressure he was giving as chase car was awesome and no matter who it was he was door to door. Well done. Another fantastic EDC event along with rediculous weather. Group buy on roof vents ![]() Andy |

thanks for the nice comments mr bladey and polo, as you guys know i was struggling to keep the maxxis drift tyres spinning, these bloody things just grip like hell and are by far the best thing i've run on the rx7 to date, in the morning i was running 45psi in the rears and was finally getting it cracked, then as we progressed to the top 8 the weather took a turn and with this came a tyre and tyre pressure change, i think 35psi on brand new maxxis was just too much for the lack of torque my engine produces but at least i'm learning. i felt me driving in the top 8 through to the semis was below average and i feel i was extremely lucky to get the bottom step on the podium but i assure you guys i'll be upping my game for santa pod |
