Well deserved win for Buff.

He had a challenge as he had to beat Phil heads up then go on to win the event yesterday to take the title. 2nd or worse would have not been enough for him. The pressure was massive for veryone but he did what he needed to and got his crown.

Good driving from everyone this weekend. Really proud of all of you. Especially the new guys who have developed and improved so much this year. Props to Andy Cooper, David Monaghan, Steve Will and also Keith Hammond and Gary Hughes as well. I'm sure there's a few more new comer names I've missed (like Polo... love you too) It's been an amazing year

Well deserved win to Mark. The performance yesterday was awesome, very consistent and the greater the pressure... well the harder you went!

It's been a mental year - the tracks and driving standards have blown my mind and I really hope to do it all again this year. Plenty of time to make me and the car more competitive. And thanks to Maz, Andy, Glen etc for superb organisation and events throughout the year.

Andy

Oh and I forgot completely on the sunday to mention the prize of best new driver for 2009.

This has to be for somebody who is completely new to EDC in 2009 (i.e. any involment in 2008 or earlier makes them ineligible) and this year it goes to Andy COoper from Really Mean Sounds.

Congrats to Andy and his team!

Absolutely chuffed Maz! It has been a challenge but a very rewarding one and I really hope to return to EDC next year.

My congratulations also to Buff, I could tell he was feeling the pressure on the startline (or was it jetlag) when he asked me before the final if he got a practice before the judged runs!
Great season Buff and well done.

We may not have the most drivers in EDC, but they are a real pleasure to work with, when I remember back to the early days with toys out the pram scenario's and near fights......well you guys couldn't behave more professionally and its been a privilege working with you.

Special word must go to Phil as he was as professionalism personified after losing the title with the last drive of the day. Big respect.

Well done Mr Buff a top performance seeing as though we had all just flown back from the land of the sun with a screamin baby on the plane that allowed for NO sleep. Well done also to Raef and the SVA team for the championship title its been a long time coming but it can only make it sweeter. Not forgetting Mr Paul Conlan also a jet lagged driver that put in his best performance this year with a second place, I did see him eying up a few pick ups in the car park though ay Paul. Congrats to all who competed this year you guys have done yourselves proud competing in Britains premiere championship at some of Britains premiere circuits. I myself have had great fun commentating with Bladey this year but will be fingers crossed reappearing behind the wheel of an Apex Performance monster next year so watch out Mr Buff Im comin for your title, it will be a pleasure to compete against the best again.

Chubby had a bit of bad luck with the charger belt, he would have been in with a chance of a podium finish.
