UK VS IRELAND (VS NETHERLANDS) - UK WINS!!!

Id just like to say a few words, to follow the results and points made in other thread.

It wasn’t just me , it was the commitment of a lot of people that made night fight work, without you guys I would have been lost.

Scotty - thanks for the help past few weeks, It wouldn’t have happened without you.

Mitto and Julian - Top notch level judging (couldn’t pick anyone better technically)

Milo- For there experience and guidance on what to do, on the night!

Maurice – You are without doubt the best guy at this , the J-Rod of Europe, funny as hell, and got the crowd going like ive never seen before in the UK

Kirsty - Thanks for mixing it up an not making it totally and Irish show, with a bit more experience its gonna be interesting !!(was your first time too )

Marshals - Team drive-by/Jap north east, thanks for the help, the support was top notch and hope you too enjoyed the action being at the frontline.

And finally, the drivers. Just like I said in the drivers briefing, put on a show, and you exceeded my expectations, as ever!

It was crazy, and up there with D1, Prodrift and all the other mental events i’ve seen.

Brett and Johnny P, the footage from your battle was mental, it will make you legends. Can’t wait to see the demo videos.

Brett ,hope you spend the £1000 prize money sensibly !!! ha ha

Team Falken

Ice man Cool as ever. Wanders(Dutch smoke machine) the prefect gentlemen , didn’t bother with the second battle(spun in the first) with Brett as he knew he Brett had won fair and square.
And also to the newcomers coming through the ranks, so much talent coming through.

Paul, Japimports, awesome driving in such a standard car, poor Buttsy wont be driving the Bee-r car anymore! Scott, Skylinepart Man where did that driving come from? changed man… must be the new girl!!! Retrodan, The new kid, awesome driving, in a bog standard AE86, was awesome to watch.

Anyway thanks again, I am never happy with my standards and personally I would like to do nothing but double my efforts! Never happy keeping it at the same standard.

And thanks again! For all your kind words of support, I think we have now turned a corner in actually how drifting should be portrayed and shown to the people of the
UK.

The
UK audience may be hard to work with, but when done right this sport of drifting really captures the publics minds and definitely makes them go crazy!

Probably loads of people I missed but thanks again, roll on 2008…………………

Niall

I've said it before but I'll say it again, Night Fight was by far and away the best day of drifting I've witnessed since the D1GP exhibition rounds at Silverstone but even then I had more of a detached feeling watching from the stands... Night Fight was all about being up close and personal with the cars and drivers, it was fantastic. I cannot think of many other motorsport events that you get to do that. Fantastic. I'll be at the next one for sure, if every drift event was like this I would never be at home!

Think you'll find Mark Luney is a belfast man

awesome event made the 6hour drive up/down from Kent deffo the most worthwhile trip of the year.

congrats to all, scotty was a legend on the day, kirsty and the irish commentator were great, funny and informative, judging was bang on, course was bang-on, everyone in the pits helped out when Toms box spat itself and we must have borrowed something from almost everyone to get it working again

70 point highest score pretty decent considering how harsh me and the smith are as judges! Also, thanks a lot for you various help at the weekend with jacks, axle stands and charger packs! half the gird would'nt have run without ya!
