    Press Release
    August 21st 2008
    For Immediate Release

Prodrift & JDM All-stars team up for UK Drift Extravaganza.

September 20th & 21st will witness the long awaited combination of two of Europe’s most fiercely contested drifting Championships across an exciting weekend schedule at the Lydden Hill Circuit, Kent, U.K.

The U.K’s most exciting championship, JDM All-Stars, and the internationally acclaimed Prodrift European Series will host their 2008 finals at Lydden Hill across a full two day schedule of professional drifting competition.
The JDM All-Stars Triple Crown Series will crown its King on Saturday September 20th and the first ever Prodrift European Champion will be determined on Sunday September 21st. The combination of these two top level championships will guarantee the most competitive European drifting grid of 2008 in two separately contested Championships.

Commenting on the announcement, "Karl O’Sullivan of Prodrift said “This weekend at Lydden Hill will be a spectacular end to a landmark season for the Prodrift European Series. The combination of Prodrift and JDM All-Stars is a mouth watering prospect and a drifting festival that the UK has deserved for a very long time. We look forward to working with Lydden Hill and JDM All-Stars to deliver an event unlike anything previously seen in Europe; it promises to be an excellent weekend”.

Niall Gunn of JDM All-Stars Added “This will be a spectacular ending to what already has been a record breaking year for the JDM Allstars brand. Pitting all the best JDM Allstars drivers against Europes most elite series Prodrift in a huge drift festival weekend. The Lydden hill circuit will test drivers to there absolute limit as it is probably one of the most spectacular/challenging drift circuits in Europe with its elevation changes and high speed entry's. We look forward to working with Prodrift and Lydden Hill Race Circuit in creating another amazing drift event in Europe”.

In the coming weeks both organisations will announce the comprehensive schedule of competition and special attractions that will make up this weekend as well as announcing a grid which will contain the best drivers, teams, past champions and current stars in European drifting.
