DUBLIN, IRELAND – 3/4/09

On the eve of the first round of the JDM Allstars Championship, JDM Garage UK and Eric O Sullivan are proud to announce their partnership for the 2009 season. This will see the reigning JDM Allstars title holder compete in the UK under the JDM Garage banner. Recognized as one of the top Corolla drivers in the European scene, ‘Flat Eric’ is delighted to be offered the chance to drive the JDM Garage AE86 for the 2009 season.

Paul Howard, owner of JDM Garage UK based in Devon, Southern England has been responsible for importing and building some of the UK’s wildest Drift cars. This Corolla will be no different and already boasts an impressive spec list. “We are delighted to be teaming up with Eric for 2009. We know he is a talented driver and one of the few that can still be competitive in a Corolla, his results from the last couple of seasons are proof of that. We’re looking forward to working with him and getting the car out on track”.

JDM Garage will take delivery of the Toyota in the coming weeks and begin preparing it for competition. The car will be powered by a fully built 20v 4AGE engine with an estimated 180bhp.Run Free Aero, Watanabe wheels and many custom suspension components combined with O Sullivan’s ’86 know how should produce one of the UK’s finest Corolla’s.

Due to Eric’s commitments in Formula Drift this year, the car will make its debut at Round 2 of the JDM Allstars Series in Lydden Hill on May 2nd- 4th. “ With Formula D being my priority this year competing in the UK was always going to be difficult .I’m delighted to have the support of JDM Garage so that I can continue to drive in JDM Allstars in ’09.Unfortunately I’m going to be in LA for round one but I’ll be back for round two with the awesome JDM Garage ’86 “
