Bloody hell, the prep on that car is absolutely top bollock...

As a bit of an ignorantist, do the UK D1 cars meet that sort of spec?

They got that car, and they're only going to use it for exhibitions... That's gay.
The car was bought by Japan Auto (an importer) and Powerdrift (Norwegian drift series).

A shame that no one in Norway thinks outside the box, just Skyline, Silvia, 180sx, 200sx and the odd Beamer. I want to see some else for once. Don't get me wrong, i like Nissan. But the same cars over and over again is boring.

I guess that's why I'm going for a Laurel C32 :P

the scandinavians have been holding 'powerslide' competitions since before people even thought of drifting.

And doing it in a hell of a lot more than 'Skyline, Silvia, 180sx, 200sx and the odd Beamer'.... ever heard of volvo? Insane rwd converted saabs? Stupid power RUF's etc. Never seen the GIS series?

Just because the japs brought it to the limelight doesnt mean they invented it.

Sure, i forgot about Volvo's and the fact that i am talking about the drift series. :P

And don't you think i know that? :P
All i want are more old school rides, and maybe something that you don't usually see drifting.
But who am i too talk? I don't even own a rwd

There's also a BMW E46 M3 being built right now for the Pro series next year, so there will be a nice line of cars next season

Norwegians have too much money, fact.

Well, the main reason for "inside the box" cars is probably due to the fact that there's plenty of parts available. However, there are a few exeptions. A couple of Volvo's, a few beemers, and of course this:

Gotta be honest. It's not really a drifter. But I'm picking up another one just like it today, and might strip it down and prepare it for competition if I find the time. Would be so cool

Kazama's car is really cool, btw. Anyone know what car this is? Is it the one that used to be in the UK? Or is it the 2005 car? Ueo is driving his latest car, isn't he?

if my norweigan isnt too bad this translates to:

"The car is both driven and built by Kazama, so this will probably be a car that will get noticed on the tracks next season. Kenneth Moen, amongst others will put on a good show on the tracks. This car will really be used. says Tom Ole Svendsen."

if thats true, the car will be used...

Yes, it will be used, but only for show, not competition. Kenmo is building a V8 S15 to use.

Not competition as far as I've understood. Which is abit of a shame I must say. This car belongs at the top of the podium collecting 1st prizes. But it's gonna be really fun to watch this car live.

He's not sure which to choose. Mercedes, Lexus or Chevy I think. I think I remember reading that he most likely will go with the Mercedes one and maybe mount a couple of small turbos on it. Daniel Brandmo has installed a Lexus V8 in his S14,5 with 2 small turbos already.
