The 3D models doesn't look very accurate. Especially the hachi. But who knows, it might be good, allthough I doubt it very much, considering previous titles in that series have been terrible imo...

the pre renderd cut scene stuff looks awsome.. i just hope they put some time into it and get it up to scratch those games havent been the same since the days of toca.. toca two touring cars was the shizne! OMFG the bonnet comes off!!!

it'll probably be 90's arcade with the g25 like all the other shite is like with it, need for speed series, every rally game and even toca race driver.

The only thing that really works brilliant is Live for speed which is still the best physics going (has been for years anyway). I've had gran turismo 4 on it which is almost as good as live for speed. Need to try GT5 on it also, but there is still hope for this game yet :P

I've been watching the high def clips from IGN and this is one of the best looking racing games made. I just hope the physics are up to par too. If we end up with NFS-lite, I'll cry.

One of the artists from Codemasters who's worked on GRID was at BDC at Llandow yesterday, I had a good long chat with him about it and he said that the one thing they were missing with the game was the atmosphere thats generated around drifting. It was his first time watching a drift event in person and he said it was completely unlike any other motorsport out there, he likened it more to extreme sports. So he's going to get back to the office, report back and make sure more of the guys there get to the next events...

/\ That's cool Bryn, yeah the atmosphere yesterday was particularly awesome, although generally it is still always good. It's like a group of friends all wanting to support everybody and going mental when something good happens, with the commentators too it was really fun to watch!
